The scanner was very clear. Against Poor photo quality Large footprint No fax. The bundled software supports photo editing, and the CX allows standalone copying as well as printing from or scanning to a media card. My neighbor has a lexmark and I could see the huge difference in the two. It is a workhorse in our business.

Wha t I like most is, its a stand alone cz6600, that you can use without the computer being turned on, plus you can make both black copies or color, at the touch of a button The four-color CX is vendor-rated to print up to 22 pages per minute ppm of text and 11ppm color, though, as with most printers, it didn’t print that fast in our tests.
The CX also accesses Epson’s photo-sharing and photo-craft Web sites, which offer templates and clip art to download for designing scrapbooks, greeting cards, and calendars. Great quality, lots of fpson for photo’s and it seems to be reliable but it is so S L O W that I can nap between pages.
I attepted to clean it to no avail and ended up replacing the unit. Other than speed it seems to be a fine low usage, home type of printer.
My experience is that the life expectancy is far shorter than I would expect for the investment.

Good for a while This was my first all in one. The scanner was very clear. Since a color print can use all four CMYK cartridges, the true cost eson one sheet of graphics totals 13 to 15 cents–still reasonable. For a home printer I feel it is of good quality and as a beginner I was able to f igure out how to use it without too much difficulty.
You can replace individual ink cartridges when needed, rather than all at once, to save on costs. I have had this printer now for 3 years.
After about a year, count on your printer to just stop working due to some device in it, and if you are beyond your warantee, chalk it up to a loss. The Epson Stylus CX inkjet multifunction capably copies, prints, and scans photos, images, and text. Sadly, though, there’s not a great deal to get excited about. Mark Zuckerberg on Facebook’s The Bad No cables included; live telephone tech support costs extra and there’s no weekend support; plain paper sometimes loads incorrectly.

There would either be no border, or too big a border, and sometimes the paper would appear to load and the printer would print, but the paper never even loaded.
