I sure hope you read this enn you helped me immensely. The drivers for this device are included within the Windows 7 installation already, you just need to browse for them Right click on the device, and goto Properties.
It appears that during the upgrade, if your device contains hardware that either is or may be incompatible with the OS, the driver is not installed during upgrade.

This answer is the correct answer as it will apply to any device, not just Dell. Then interl this is for a system that is somewhat old so i guess you could say they dont bother updating older systems.
